Terrine Restaurant Debutes New Summer Cocktails

Cool off with these new lively drinks!

It's always fun to discover a new restaurant in town, and despite Siri leading me astray, the detour to get to Terrine was worth it. Step down into an engaging patio, and be thankful for the canopy of the trees that shields you with inviting shade.

But the happening spot was at the bar, where head bartender Ryan Wainwright was debuting his new summer cocktail menu.

It was difficult to decide on which adventure to take. I decided to start with the Route de Menton, a lively concoction with St. George Citrus Vodka, Prosecco, China-China, lemon, OJ and honey. It was a perfect remedy to the summer swelter. But I had to admit I was a little jealous of my companion’s libations, far more ambitious than my selection, all of which were infused with an arsenal of ingredients and poignant flavor.

Gawking at their drinks, they kindly let me imbibe. I was a little suspicious of a drink called the French Cowboy, and its swift spicy kick immediately put me in my place. The others I sipped and savored, and as the evening commenced, we all indulged in convivial conversation, nibbling on the small bites that were presented to us.

Although we didn't get to sample of the entire Happy Hour menu, notable mention goes to the Cured Salmon Terrine, the Chicken Liver Toast, and oddly enough, the delicious and crispy Pig Ears.

If you're looking for a happy spot to park your troubles, check out Terrine Restaurant, a lively stop between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
