Water Man Break Closes Major Thoroughfare in Culver City
The closure lasted for less than an hour, but water won't be restored to the area until after midnight.

A water main break in Culver City temporarily closed Washington Boulevard, but continued to impact local businesses, police said Sunday.
The break forced the closure on Washington between Helms and Sentney avenues around 4 p.m., according to the Culver City Police Department.
The street was reopened in both directions by 4:45 p.m., police said.

Some businesses along Washington were still without water, police said.
The main break was expected to be repaired by midnight.
