Yalla Mediterranean Opens in Culver City Dec. 15th

Any restaurant whose title translates into “Let’s Go” is all right with me. It infuses optimistic excitement. And that’s exactly what happened when we attended Yalla’s pre-opening in Culver City.

You can always count on the arrival of new restaurants to Culver City’s happening dining scene. With Daphne’s out of the way, Yalla joins the stable of fast-casual dining options already freckling the downtown area.

Inside, the décor is colorful, clean, with a bit of a hipster vibe. A kaleidoscope of food options awaits you. Pick your style, pick your meat, and then revel in the bounty of flavorful options before you. I like that you can customize your meal. So many people these days are anal eaters. This place makes it easy for them.

Their eco-friendly atmosphere features responsibly raised, grilled-to-order meat and fish, along with house-made sides, craft brews and locally sourced wine. Think fresh, authentic, delicious and affordable. That’s what Yalla is all about.

They even sport a live herb wall, and compostable plates and cups. Lower your carbon footprint while you eat. How cool is that?

Yalla, spearheaded by David Wolfgram, CEO of Mediterranean Cuisine Operating Company, LLC has locations in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, and with locations blooming in Burbank and now Culver City, Yalla has upped the ante for fast-casual dining.
