1 Dead In Collision Involving 3 Vehicles, Including News Van

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A three-vehicle collision involving a news van in San Jose has turned fatal this evening, according to firefighters.

The crash was reported at Santa Clara and Fourth streets at 4:34 p.m. and emergency crews were on scene roughly three minutes later.

One person has died as a result of the crash, but that person does not appear to be affiliated with the news crew, firefighters said.

Police are investigating the collision, and they're asking drivers to avoid the scene.
