2 Cats Rescued From San Jose House Fire

Photos appeared to show significant damage to the home on San Jose's west side.

SAN JOSE, CA — Firefighters rescued two cats from a fire late Tuesday at a home on San Jose's west side, the San Jose Fire Department said.

The fire was reported around 8:52 p.m. at the home, on the 700 block of Live Oak Way, according to fire officials. Crews knocked down the fire by 9:38 p.m.

Aside from the two cats, fire officials didn't say whether any residents were at home when the fire broke out or if anyone was injured.
