Area Man Reported Missing Last Found To Be Traveling Internationally

Investigators determined a 43-year-old man who was reported missing out of Mountain View last week has been out of the country on his own will, police said today.

Odon Fajotina, a Sunnyvale resident, was last seen at his workplace in the 600 block of Showers Drive near West El Camino Real shortly before 4 p.m. June 9, police said.

Fajotina’s last reported conversation with a family member was on June 11, according to police. On June 15, police sought the public’s assistance in locating Fajotina by providing his physical description and photos of him.

He was considered at-risk because he is “an extremely reliable individual,” police said.

As of Monday, investigators learned Fajotina is out of the country but have not determined why he left, according to police. Fajotina’s family has been notified of the discovery, police said.
