Bay Area Storms Leave Tens Of Thousands Without Power
PG&E crews on Friday worked to restore power to thousands of Bay Area residents following a Thursday night storm that brought winds & rain.

BAY AREA, CA -- PG&E crews this morning are continuing to work to restore power to thousands of Bay Area residents following a Thursday night storm that brought high winds and heavy rain to the area.
As of 5 a.m., 45,940 customers remained without power throughout the Bay Area, PG&E officials said.
The East Bay had the most outages with 39,185, the South Bay 3,400, the North Bay 2,084, the Peninsula 1,265 and three customers remained without power in San Francisco.

The storm also downed trees and power lines throughout the Bay Area.
