Rep. Mike Honda will host a Telephone Town Hall Thursday night.

Feel like the politicians in Washington, D.C., don't understand what's really going on at home? Sign up for a with Congressman Mike Honda (D-CA) Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and get your voice heard.

"With so much happening in Congress over the past few months, many of you have called and written in with questions about how my work in Washington will affect our district," Honda said in an email and on his website.

"The ongoing budget debate presents a perfect time for you, the constituents of California’s 15th District, to make your voice heard. Considering the effect that this budget will have for years to come, I believe it is very important that a substantive discussion occur between neighbors, friends, families and elected officials."

All it takes to join the discussion is registering on a Web form. Constituents will be called 10 minutes before the event begins. You must have a verifiable address, ZIP code and telephone area code from the district in order to participate.
