Dons to Host Canada College in Home Debut

De Anza Men's Basketball returns to Cupertino, for their home debut versus Canada College, at 5 pm.

De Anza Basketball Plays in Home Opener Wednesday at 5 pm

After posting a 5-4 record in their nine games away from home, the De Anza Dons Men's Basketball team finally gets some home cookin'. Coming off a 3rd place showing at the Foothill College Tournament with wins over College of the Sequoias and West Hills College, the Dons will face the Canada College Colts in the DonDome Wednesday night at 5 pm. 

De Anza has steadily improved in the young season and has developed some stand out players. Freshman point guard Dawson Johnson leads the team in scoring 17.6 points per game and is leading in assists with 25, while contributing with 21 rebounds. Sophomore wing George Henderson is playing well above his 6'1" size as he leads the Dons in rebounding with 47 while tallying 21 steals. Abu Tratter, a 6'6" freshman post, has been a steadying presence in the interior with his inside scoring at 11.8 points per game and 9 blocked shots.

The Dons are looking for a nice home crowd as they make their season return to their Cupertino home. Come out and support De Anza Men's Basketball. Entry is $5.
