Information on Lynbrook High School's annual fashion show

Hello to my dear Patch readers,

I’m terribly sorry for my long absence from blogging, believe me it’s been an un-fun period of time filled with SATs, ACTs, and preparing for AP testing (gross) . But one fun thing I have been working on during my absence has been sewing for the fashion show at my school, which I’ve participated in each year that I’ve been in high school.

Each year Lynbrook’s fashion club InDesign puts on a huge fashion show at the end of May to show off all of the beautiful pieces made by the club’s members throughout the year. The pieces range from cute summer dresses to thrifty reconstructions to newspaper gowns galore.

It’s a great function, and I would certainly encourage anyone who wants to, to come. The designers work so hard making each piece that is sent down the runway and  many people from the school are able to get involved in it by preforming in the pre-show and intermission dance routines as well as modeling, acting and showing off other talents.

This year it will be May 24th at 7 pm in the Lynbrook quad, and be sure to get there early because it’s a popular event and tickets can sell out!
