Reconstruct a T-shirt into Cool Summer Fun

A cool idea to turn your old exercising T's into cute new summertime tanks

It’s summertime! Which means going to the beach, eating cold cones of ice cream, and soaking up the summer sun (with sunscreen of course!)

Recently, I’ve been going for a lot of runs, and despite my sunscreen-wearing efforts, I’ve begun to develop a bit of a farmers’ tan. After years of playing soccer, I am definitely no stranger to these, but since I’m having a soccer-free-summer, I’m determined to have the color of my shoulders match the color of my forearms.

While browsing around on my Pinterest account the other day, I found this great reconstruction that showed how to change a T-shirt to a tank. I ended up making two from old T’s I had in my closet, and they’re great. They’re loose enough to be comfortable when exercising, and yet they still look cute (and will help me avoid looking like I dipped from mid-bicep down in self tanner.)

This shirt is great because it’s loose and flowy and allows you to get a bit of a breeze. Also, I always feel confined in tight exercising tanks, but this one is loose and comfortable. Pretty much all the comfort of a T-shirt, only cuter.

Who says you can’t look good while breaking a sweat?
