We missed you at the Cupertino Veteran's Memorial this morning

It wasn't exactly just for veterans it was for citizens to say thank you to veterans. Remember if you voted on Tuesday it was the veterans who gave their service and lives most likely helped make that happen. If you ever wrote a letter to an editor and expressed any idea you wanted to, it was most likely because some of our veterans. If you ever went to a city council meeting to express your opinion, it was most likely because some of our veterans. And the list goes on.

Many of them left us before their time so that we could be free. You owe them a thank you.

If you missed Sunday's ceremony please come to the Veteran's Memorial in Memorial Park with your kids and remind of the people who have gone before. Show them that freedom is not free. 

So, put on your calendar, Monday, November 11, 2013, to be part of thanking our veterans at Memorial Park.
