
Join the Stanford Philharmonia, led by conductor Paul Phillips, for an evening of vibrant orchestral music at Bing Concert Hall. The 2025 Spring Concert, presented by the Stanford Philharmonia, features a dynamic lineup of works spanning the Classical period and beyond.
The program opens with Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges’ Overture to L’amant Anonyme, followed by Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 82 in C Major, “L’ours” (The Bear). The concert also features Charles Li ’25, winner of this year’s Stanford Concerto Competition, performing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 in G Major, K. 453. The evening concludes with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 36.
