City Of Cupertino: Cupertino City Council Proclaims Lung Cancer Awareness Month

Last night, the Cupertino City Council proclaimed November as Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Lung Cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among people in the United States and in Cupertino. According to the Centers for Disease Control, there were 3,741 new lung cancer cases and 2,441 deaths because of lung cancer between 2013 and 2017 in Santa Clara County.
