We are hiring Marketing &amp; Communications Interns to support our outreach, fundraising and marketing, volunteer engagement, community awareness and social media engagement. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in marketing, social media, storytelling, and community engagement. Flexible schedule with hands-on experience supporting real campaigns and community impact work.
Location: Remote (occasional in-person meetings and event support may be needed)

Pancake Breakfast: "Join the Redwood City Fire Department at the main Marshall Street fire station for a pancake breakfast. Breakfast is from 8-11 a.m., benefiting the Redwood City Firefighters Association. Breakfast is $10."
Parade: "Come be a part of the largest Independence Day parade in Northern California. Since 1939, it's been the place to be on the 4th of July. The parade starts promptly at 10 a.m."
Car show: "After the parade, enjoy a car show at the "Pizza and Pipes" parking lot."

There are also arts and craft booths and entertainment for the thousands of people that attend the festival immediately after the parade.
We are proud that the members of our organization have operated the Peninsula Celebration Association since 1939 as a true volunteer group. our goal is to help make our city not just a place to live, but a real community of people who care!!"

I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study.
