Santa Clara County Shelter-in-Place Order Update

The Santa Clara County Public Health Department has updated its Shelter-in-Place Order. View the press conference here. This new Order will go into effect at 12:01 am on Friday, May 22, 2020, and will remain in effect until the Health Officer amends or rescinds it.

The May 22 Order allows several new categories of businesses and activities to reopen, subject to specific conditions and limitations. It also keeps key restrictions in place, requiring people to stay in their homes except when engaging in certain essential or allowed activities.

COVID-19 Testing Sites in Santa Clara County
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department recommends anyone experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should immediately call their medical provider to discuss their conditions and seek testing. It is also recommended all workers who have frequent interaction with the public should be tested, even if they have no symptoms. Get tested if you are a healthcare worker, first responder, frontline worker at a grocery store, provide food delivering services, work at a restaurant, gas station, or convenience store.
