The City of Cupertino is partnering with a local financial technology company, Earnin, to provide up to $2,000 for households affected by COVID-19. If you or someone you know could use rental assistance, click the link below to learn more. The application will be open until Thursday, August 27 at 5 p.m. Apply at earnin.com/community.
Santa Clara County Fairgrounds COVID-19 Testing Site
Scheduled COVID-19 testing appointments are available this week from today through Friday, August 28 from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, 344 Tully Road, in Lot A across from the main entrance for people with or without symptoms. The site is set up for drive-through testing, but there is a bike and pedestrian entrance available off 7th Street at the corner of Tully Road. You can schedule from your phone or from a computer using a web browser other than Internet Explorer. To schedule an appointment visit scl.fulgengenetics.com/appointment.
City Allows Outdoor Retail and Personal Service Operations with Temporary Permit
The City of Cupertino is allowing outdoor retail and personal service operations with a Temporary Outdoor Operations Permit. Services include barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, gyms, and fitness facilities. There is no application fee or processing costs.
