Cupertino Winter Break Camps

We know trying to decide what to do to keep your child occupied when school is out of session is challenging. So we at Patch are trying to help!

The Cupertino Union School District will be on winter recess next week, from Feb. 21-25.  Here are some excellent programs to keep your child actively engaged during the break.

1.  Sewing and Creative Crafts: ages 7-14 years.
Learn basic sewing skills using sewing machines, tools, fabrics, notions and patterns. Create a pillow, purse, hat, apron and lapel pin.

 2.  Cupcakes and Cookies: ages 5-14 years.
A great chance to bake, frost and prepare those colorful bake-shop treats—and lots of ideas for party tables, tea parties and gift giving. A free handmade apron and cookbook included.

3. Favorite Comfort Foods: ages 5-13 years.
The instructors lightened your favorite comfort food recipes to make them a better choice for good health, while keeping the traditional flavors intact.

4.  Engineering and Electronic Skills Combo:  ages 6-10 years.
Experience this new and exciting hands-on, engaging and fun camp. Junior engineers will kick off the day by exploring electronics with Snap Circuits. Later in the day, they'll switch gears into building awesome projects with bricks manufactured by LEGO.

5.  Intro to Studio Production: ages 10-14 years.
Our one-week course introduces youth to media production through hands-on experience. Students will use KMVT's industry-standard professional studio. By week's end, students will produce an entire production.

6.  Gymnastics: ages 6-12 years.
Boys and girls are introduced to progressive skills in all Olympic events and trampolines. They'll have fun bouncing, swinging, flipping and tumbling on a variety of equipment.

7.   Preschool Gymnastics: ages 3-6 years.
Children can enjoy fun-filled mornings and afternoons that will include gymnastics, arts and crafts, music, stories, games and much more.

8.  Rock Climbing and Gymnastics Combo Camp: ages 7-14 years.
A popular camp combining rock climbing and gymnastics for all-day fun. Campers will spend the morning either climbing or tumbling and then switch during the afternoon.
