Driver Flees Traffic Stop In Cupertino

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Deputies are searching for person who fled from a vehicle stop in Cupertino this morning, a Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman said.

Deputies conducted a vehicle enforcement stop around 10 a.m. in the area of Wildflower Way and Wildflower Court, just west of South De Anza Boulevard, sheriff's Sgt. Richard Glennon said.

The suspect driver stopped the vehicle and ran away, Glennon said.

As of about 10:20 a.m., deputies were actively searching for the driver, according to Glennon.
