According to a statement released by police, officers seized the fireworks and turned them over to the Alameda County Sheriffās Office Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit for destruction. Both were arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
"Dublin Police Services is taking a zero tolerance approach to illegal fireworks and will have additional officers on patrol over the Fourth of July weekend conducting enforcement activity," police said in a statement.
