Elderly Pedestrian Suffers Minor Injuries When Hit By Car In Cupertino
The driver, 87, was exiting a parking lot on Stevens Creek Boulevard.

An elderly man suffered minor injuries when struck by a car in Cupertino this afternoon, a sheriffās spokesman said.
Deputies responded to a report of a collision at South De Anza and Stevens Creek boulevards around 2:45 p.m., sheriffās Sgt. James Jensen said.
An 87-year-old woman was exiting a parking lot at Stevens Creek Boulevard and was about to make a right turn onto southbound De Anza Boulevard, Jensen said. The woman was looking to her left at oncoming traffic when the front of her vehicle struck a man who was heading north on a sidewalk, Jensen said.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital for treatment, according to Jensen.
The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative with investigators, he said.
