Elderly Woman Reported Missing From Peninsula

The 83 year old is considered at-risk and was last seen getting off a bus on Sunday.

An 83-year-old woman considered at-risk has been reported missing after she was last seen exiting a bus Sunday evening in San Mateo, and San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies are asking the public to help them find her.

Katsuko Frank was reported missing around 10:45 a.m. Monday by a family member, according to the sheriff’s office. Frank is roughly 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with short gray hair and brown eyes.

According to the bus driver, she was wearing a black hooded jacket with fuzzy brown lining while carrying a large white handbag and a large black handbag, sheriff’s officials said.

Frank was last seen at 7 p.m. Sunday getting off the bus at the Hayward Park Caltrain station in San Mateo and lives in unincorporated San Mateo County. She is considered at-risk because she has a medical condition that requires medication, sheriff’s officials said.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office’s anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
