Affordable home builder Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley is hosting Home Ownership Readiness workshops in Cupertino to help families qualify for its affordable home ownership program that will open summer 2011.
At the workshops, Habitat representatives will explain the program requirements and what families can do now to become qualifies for when the application process opens. Families will have the opportunity to hear about upcoming Habitat developements and receive specialized advice in the areas of employment, legal services, tax return reporting, credit and debt. Each if these will better position them to qualify for a Habitat home.
