Visit historic Montalvo as part of your 3rd and 4th grade History and Science studies! These two-hour tours include docent-led nature walks and tours of the historic Villa, and fulfill State Content Standards in history, science, theater and music.
Field Trips include a tour of the historic Villa and gardens, a nature walk through native California flora, discussion of Phelan's involvement in the Hetch Hetchy water project, recitation of Edwin Markham's poetry in the Garden Theatre, and a chance to sketch the Villa and sculptures.
