The Homestead High football team squares off against Fremont High in Sunnyvale Friday night. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the non-league contest.
Homestead defeated The King's Academy 35-7 on Sept. 8 to improve to 2-0 this fall. The Mustangs and their power running attack open league play on Sept. 30 at defending CIF and Central Coast Section champion Palo Alto High.
