This month, the Cupertino Library Adult Book Group will read and discuss Diamond Ruby by Joseph Wallace. Ruby Lee Thomas is a young Jewish woman whose family was devastated by the Influenza epidemic of 1918. She learns to support herself and her two young nieces with her unusual talent as a baseball pitcher.
The book discussion group meets on the 3rd Thursday evening of
each month in the Library Story Room. Adults of all ages are welcome.
