The National Weather Service has forecasted high heat through Thursday, October 1. Temperatures in Cupertino are expected to hit up to 93 degrees.

Air Quality is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups, according to airnow.gov. People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and teens should reduce exposure by choosing less strenuous activities or shortening the amount of time outdoors.

The Cupertino Senior Center, 21251 Stevens Creek Boulevard, will be open to the public as a cooling center today, September 29 through Thursday, October 1 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day. You do not need to be a senior to use the cooling center.
