Lanes Blocked On I-280 This Morning In Cupertino
Two lanes are closed as police investigate fatality.

Two lanes of Interstate Highway 280 in Cupertino are blocked as California Highway Patrol officers investigate a fatality this morning.
The incident occurred on southbound Highway 280 just south of Wolfe Road and was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m., CHP officials said.
CHP Officer Eric Anderson said the passenger in a vehicle died and the driver suffered major injuries.

A Sig-alert was issued at 7:07 a.m. and there is no estimated time of when the lanes will reopen, CHP officials said.
