Male Walks Away From Juvenile Facility In La Honda

Sheriff’s deputies are advising residents to be on the lookout for a boy who left a juvenile rehabilitation center in San Mateo County without permission today.

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said the subject, described as an African-American, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds with a slender build, was wearing a green shirt and khaki pants when he left the Log Cabin Ranch School.

He was last seen at approximately 9:28 a.m. If you see him, deputies ask that you call 911.

Log Cabin Ranch is located at 500 Log Cabin Ranch Road in La Honda, and is part of the San Francisco Unified School District, run by the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department.
