Man Arrested In NorCal After 60 Pounds Of Meth, 2 Guns Found
Deputies alleged during the stop that the suspect had a "nervous demeanor" which prompted the deputy to investigate further.
SAN JOAQUIN, CA — A 38-year-old man was arrested last week in San Joaquin County after two guns and 60 pounds of methamphetamine were allegedly found in is vehicle, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office.
Jose Maria Carranza was stopped by deputies after tailgating another car, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies alleged during the stop that Carranza had a "nervous demeanor" which prompted the deputy to investigate further.

After deputies allegedly located guns and a large amount of the methamphetamine in the driver's car, he was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail and bail was set to $2.7 million.
