Marriott To Open AC Hotel In Sunnyvale-Cupertino
The five-story, LEED Silver Certified property will have a lounge, high-tech meeting spaces and will cater to Silicon Valley travelers.
SUNNYVALE, CA – AC Hotel Sunnyvale Cupertino, a boutique-brand Marriott property, will open this summer, catering to the Silicon Valley region.
The five-floor hotel with 182 guest rooms will be located at the intersection of South Fair Oaks Avenue and El Camino Real in Sunnyvale, near the San Jose International Airport, Levi’s Stadium, the Shoreline Amphitheater, Great America, Caltrain stations and such companies as Google, Amazon and Yahoo.
Marriott International's AC Hotels brand caters to travelers, particularly millennials and entrepreneurs, and the Sunnyvale Cupertino locale will feature an "Innovation Lab," an 815-square-foot, tech-friendly meeting space with an adjacent outdoor patio, and a "Media Salon," a smaller, fully equipped media room for video conferencing and strategy sessions, according to management.

Designated as a LEED Silver Certified property, the hotel will include the AC Lounge, an indoor-outdoor meeting space by day and a stylish bar by night, and the AC Kitchen with its European-inspired continental breakfast and signature Berkel slicer, an AC Hotels staple, which will offer guests hand-cut meats, including artisanal La Quercia Prosciutto.
The AC Library provides guests with a quiet environment for reading or working, as well as access to business-center amenities.

AC Hotel Sunnyvale Cupertino will be launched by owner T2 Hospitality and managed by Evolution Hospitality. Future hotel locations include Santa Clara, Palo Alto and a second Sunnyvale property, company officials said.
