Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. In observance of the holiday, Cupertino City offices will be closed, including online and phone services, on Monday, May 25, 2020.

Other Cupertino facilities will operate as follows:
- Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office: The West Valley Substation will be closed, though officers are on patrol. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency officer assistance, call the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office at 408-299-2311.
- Garbage and Recycling collection: Regular collection schedule.
