'My Mom Is Beautiful Inside And Out': Mother's Day Photos

CUPERTINO, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

This one shows Cady Marsh and her mother, Sydney Marsh.

They are often told they look like sisters, says Cady.

"My Mom is beautiful inside and out," writes Cady. "She was a public school teacher and administrator for over 30 years in Cupertino, CA and is now 'retired.' She is currently a mentor for college students becoming teachers at Santa Clara University. She is the best Mom and role model around and I am so lucky that she is my Mom. We are also very lucky she is helping the next teachers shape our future."
