All Lanes Reopen On Hwy 101 Near I-880 After Big-Rig Crash [UPDATE]

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA ā UPDATE: TUESDAY, NOV.1, 1:15 p.m.
All lanes have reopened on U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose where a big-rig overturned this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of an overturned big-rig on southbound Highway 101 just north of Interstate Highway 880 around 10:30 a.m., CHP officials said.

A Sig-alert was issued at 10:41 a.m. because of the closute of five southbound lanes. Three lanes reopened as of about 11:30 a.m., but the two right lanes and the transition from Highway 880 to southbound Highway 101
stayed closed until about 12:20 p.m., according to the CHP.
CHP officials did not say whether there were any injuries in the crash.

There was a leak on the highway, but it's not clear what the substance is and how much leaked, according to the CHP.
