Pavement Work Coming To McClellan Road In Cupertino

The City of Cupertino’s contractor, Pavement Coatings Co., will be placing a rubberized asphalt cape seal on McClellan Road between Bubb Road and portions of Stelling Road. The application of an asphalt chip seal will take place on Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20. That work will be followed by the application of a slurry seal on Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27. Work will be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

McClellan Road will be reduced to one lane during these periods. A flagger will conduct traffic control to allow travel in both directions. Motorists should expect delays while work is in progress and are advised to use alternate routes when possible.

Access to and from side streets and driveways will be restricted for intermittent periods during this work. Residents with access off McClellan Road are requested to park on side streets if they will need to access their vehicles during these periods.
