Police ID Man Fatally Struck By Car In Sunnyvale
A 47-year-old man was fatally hit by a car while walking in an intersection early Tuesday, police said.
SUNNYVALE, CA ā A man fatally struck by a car in Sunnyvale last week has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as 47-year-old David Green.
Green was hit while walking in the intersection of El Camino Real and Helen Avenue at about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
He was taken to a hospital but died there. The driver of the car stopped at the scene, cooperated with investigators, and is not suspected of driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, public safety officials said.
