Police Seeking Suspect in Cupertino Shooting
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

A man was shot in the leg in Cupertino Monday night, a sheriffās sergeant said today.
The man was found suffering a gunshot wound in the area of Wunderlich Drive and Tuggle Avenue at about 9:30 p.m., sheriffās Sgt. James Jensen said.
The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance. His injuries were not serious and he was released from the hospital by the afternoon, Jensen said.

Investigators believe the gunman and suspect knew each other, Jensen said, but he did not elaborate on a possible motive. The suspect, dressed in all black, ran from the shooting scene.
Deputies asked area residents to shelter in place while they searched the surrounding neighborhood for the suspect, but were unable to locate him, Jensen said. The suspect remains at large.
