Police: Teens Sought In 2 South Bay Home Burglaries [VIDEO]

BREAKING: Police released surveillance footage Thursday of a group of teenage suspects in two recent residential burglaries.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A group of teenagers are sought in Campbell in connection with two alleged residential burglaries police say happened Monday, Oct. 30. The breaks-in occurred at about 10 a.m. at two homes on El Patio Court — near E. Campbell and E. Hamilton avenues and state Highway 17 — according to a Campbell Police Department news release Thursday which was accompanied by a YouTube video showing the teens they suspect committed the burglaries.

In particular, police say, a witness saw four boys exit the side yard of one of the residences carrying a shopping bag containing various objects.

"Upon returning home, two residents found their homes ransacked with many personal items missing," Campbell Police Department Spokesman Gary Berg said. "In both burglaries, the suspects had forced entry into the side door that leads to the garage."

Police reviewed surveillance footage from neighboring homes and spotted seven teenagers in the area after the break-ins took place, Berg said.

"... The suspects walked down the street, away from the homes that were burglarized," Berg said. "After walking down a dead-end street, they walk back into view of one of the cameras and motion to the other suspects."

One of the suspects was seen carrying a distinctive shopping bag police were told was taken in one of the burglaries, Berg said.

Campbell police described the first suspect as a black male between 15 and 17 years old with short black hair who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and white shoes.

Police described the second suspect as a Latino male between 15 and 17 years old with short black hair who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the back, blue jeans and white shoes.

The third suspect was described by police as a black male between 15 and 17 years old with short black hair who was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The fourth suspect, according to police, was an Asian or Latino male between 15 and 17 years old with short dark hair who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white writing, blue sweatpants with white writing, and black-and-white shoes.

The final three suspects were described only as wearing dark clothing.
