Power Out For 250+ In Cupertino Area

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A power outage in the Cupertino area this morning has more than 200 of
residents without power in some parts of the city.

PG&E report 253 customers are affected near Stevens Creek Boulevard and South Tantau Avenue.

The utility estimates service will be restored in the early afternoon.

In Fremont, meanwhile, an outage, which began at 7:58 a.m., is affecting about 550 customers, according to PG&E's website. Police are asking drivers to avoid Paseo Padre Parkway between Capital and Walnut avenues as well as Civic Center Drive between Walnut Avenue and Bart Way due to the affected traffic lights.
