In Cupertino: Qualifications of Orthodontists
Our Cupertino dental office is specialized in orthodontics and other important dental practices.

Orthodontics is the field of dentistry concerned with straightening and aligning teeth and jaws. Many dentists offer a broad spectrum of dental services, including orthodontics. Some of them even offer certain orthodontic treatments. However, orthodontists have completed two to three years of additional training in dentofacial orthopedics and then complete a residency in orthodontics. They are experts in this highly specialized field and are able to complete both simple and complex cases.
Our dentist graduated with honors from USC’s School of Dentistry and was elected into the National Dental Honor Society. She completed her orthodontic training at the Eastman Institute of Oral Health at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York. After receiving her post-doctoral certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, she became a board-certified orthodontist and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Our dentist is committed to giving her patients healthy, beautiful smiles. She can help with overbites, underbites, crossbites, severe crowding, gaps or spaces between teeth, TMJ disorders, and other jaw or alignment problems. She has the skills needed to create healthy balance and relationships among the arches, bite, and jaw joints.
