Stanford Center Auctioning Outdoor Planters, Benches On Saturday

The center is under a makeover, and the pots and benches are being sold from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to benefit Simon Youth Foundation.

PALO ALTO, CA - Stanford Shopping Center, which is currently undergoing a redevelopment project, will auction flower pots and benches on Saturday to raise money for the Simon Youth Foundation, a nonprofit that provides educational opportunities for at-risk high school students.

Lightweight GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) flower pots and benches will be available for the public to pick-up in exchange for donations to the Simon Youth Foundation.

The largest flowerpot is approximately 100 lbs and benches range from 30-40 lbs. Suggested donation levels include:

· 24” pots - $50.00

· 36” pots - $75.00

· 48” pots - $100.00

· Benches - $50.00

Donations should be made payable to Simon Youth Foundation.
