Sunnyvale Suspect, 19, Arrested in Stabbing at Park
BREAKING: Police said they linked the man to the incident that occurred July 4th weekend in Mountain View.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA ā A 19-year-old man from Sunnyvale was arrested in connection with a Fourth of July weekend stabbingin Mountain View, according to police.
Daniel Martinez was arrested Thursday by Mountain View police, with assistance from Sunnyvale detectives, and booked on suspicion of attempted murder and parole violations, police said.
On July 2 shortly before 10 p.m., Mountain View police were called to Rengstorff Park at 201 South Rengstorff Ave. for a report of a juvenile male suffering from stab wounds. The victim was seriously injured and transported to a hospital after the incident suspected to be gang-related, police said.

Earlier this week Martinez was identified as a suspect in the stabbing, suspected to be gang-related, police said.
