Sunnyvale Trespasser May Be Connected With Area Burglary
A man seen on security video trespassing in a backyard of a Sunnyvale home Tuesday afternoon may be connected with a burglary in the area.

SUNNYVALE - A man seen on security video trespassing in a backyard of a Sunnyvale home Tuesday afternoon may be connected with a burglary in the area, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
Residents of a Bedford Avenue home reviewed their security video and saw an unfamiliar man in their backyard around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, public safety Capt. Shawn Ahearn said.
The man is a possible suspect in a burglary that occurred in the area sometime during the same day, Ahearn said.

The man could be arrested on suspicion of prowling because he didn't have permission to enter the property, according to Ahearn.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the department's investigations bureau at (408) 730-7120.
