Unwanted Prescription Drug Collection Saturday
Avoid flushing drugs down the toilet or throwing them in the trash, since they pose potential safety and health hazards. Bring them these collection sites between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If you have prescription drugs that are expired or no longer needed, turn them in for free Saturday at several nearby locations listed below.
The drug collection is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). No questions will be asked.

Throwing away drugs in the trash or flushing them down the toilet are improper methods to dispose of them, enviromental experts say. The drugs can affect wildlife and pollute the water.
Last September, Americans turned in 244 tons of prescription drugs at over 5,000 collection sites. In its five previous Drug Take Back events, the DEA and its partners took in over 2 million pounds of pills.
