Where Were You When Matt Cain Pitched His Perfect Game?

The San Francisco Giants ace threw the first perfect game in franchise history Wednesday night. Where were you when this historic moment went down?

There are some moments that sports fans will never forget.

Moments like the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" victory by the U.S. men's hockey team over the heavily favored USSR, Michael Phelps' swim to eight gold medals, Muhammad Ali's lighting of the 1996 Olympic flame and "The Immaculate Reception" are a few that come to mind.

Now, Bay Area fans can add the first perfect game in San Francisco Giants franchise history to the list.

Matt Cain, who started this season as the richest right-handed pitcher in baseball, struck out 14 of the 27 batters he faced. To sweeten the already savory win, Giants hitters scored 10 runs to the Houston Astros' zero.

Only 22 perfect games have ever been thrown in over 140 years of baseball. That’s one every 11,000 games. Put another way, this was a game for the ages.

We want to know where you were when Cain clinched his spot in Giants history. Were you in the stands, losing your voice and clapping your hands til they were numb? Were you at your favorite pub or at home, curled up with friends, kids or, , your dog?

If you have photos of the game (or any game), upload them to this story. Heck, upload pics of any Giants fandamonium you might have—tickets, hats, bats or balls. I've uploaded a photo of myself at the first game of the 2010 World Series, a personal sports moment that I'll treasure for years to come.

Tell us in the comments about your favorite Giants moments and what your hopes are for the franchise moving forward.

Although, maybe we should enjoy this one just a little bit longer.
