Youngest Geniuses Poised Speech Classes for 1st-2nd Graders

Young Genius, Bay Area Debate Academy is thrilled to announce that due to high demand on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:30pm we are opening Youngest Geniuses Poised Speech Classes for 1st-2nd Graders. This class will feature the fundamentals of speech and writing, preparing students to be graceful and confident speakers as they continue in their school careers and presents in their classes and/or join the Young Genius Speech and Debate Team in the future. The teacher for this classes is Vishakha Joshi. This coming fall Vishakha will pursue a law career at Columbia University and in May she will have a degree in mathematics, two minors in economics and philosophy from Santa Clara University.
In Monta Vista High School, Vishakha was the captain of the school’s Speech and Debate team. She successfully competed in Original Oratory and Original Prose and Poetry at the 2009 State Tournament. She coached all individual events in including Original Oratory, Original Advocacy, Impromptu/Extemporaneous Speaking and Humorous/Dramatic/Duo Interpretation.Students who would like to observe the first class on Sunday April 5th and meet with the teacher can contact us/register and we will let you know if we still have openings.
