Youth Science Institute's History of Alum Rock Park

Hello there, I wanted to let you all know that until April 15th, 2018, Youth Science Institute has an exhibit on Alum Rock Park's history at our Alum Rock YSI location. Come and see pictures, "From Then, Until Now!" Learn about the rich history of the park when it was the talk of the town, visited by thousands every weekend. See artifacts of the Natatorium, and even remnants of the railroad!
We also have our wonderful nature center also features live animals and even owls! We also have an extensive collection of various birds on display for viewing, as well as some interactive games from the 19th century.
After visiting our Nature Center, take a walk through beautiful Alum Rock Park to visit the historic mineral springs and the wonders of nature at it's finest.
Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 12:00pm-4:00pm, and Saturday from 12:00pm-4:30pm.
Parking fee is $6.00 and Admission to the Youth Science Institute is 50 cents per child, and $1.00 per adult.
