16 Danville Students Named 2027 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

16 students from Danville and 68 from SRVUSD could be named National Merit Scholars after scoring in the top 1% for the PSAT.

DANVILLE, CA — Sixteen students who attend school in Danville were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced. A total of 68 students from the San Ramon Valley Unified District were named semifinalists.

The students joined more than 16,000 students in the running to be named a National Merit Scholar, and receive a $2500 scholarship to help them further their educations. Students from this same list may be offered scholarships from colleges, universities and their parents' employers.

The following semifinalists in Danville received PSAT/NMSQT exam scores high enough to place them in the top one percent of US high school seniors:
