2.4-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Tri-Valley
The temblor hit Tuesday night near Danville. A smaller one struck earlier near Alamo.

DANVILLE, CA – A 2.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded Tuesday at 9:05 p.m. about 1.2 miles east of Danville, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Earlier in the day, a preliminary 1.1 magnitude quake struck near Alamo, officials said.
