2 Danville Sisters Found Dead Were "Bright Lights:" Fundraiser

A GoFundMe page has been set up for 13 and 11-year-old sisters who were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide.

DANVILLE, CA — A fundraiser has identified two more victims of a suspected murder-suicide that took place in Danville the night of Wednesday, Aug. 9.

According to a GoFundMe page, the thirteen and eleven-year-old sisters were found dead in a home on Larkwood Circle at around 5:20 p.m. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office, which is still investigating the incident, confirmed that their father, Nemanja Isailovic, 44, was also found dead, and investigators say they believe it was a murder-suicide, though this has not been officially confirmed. The fundraiser does not mention Nemanja. The fundraiser organizer asked Patch not to publish the sisters' names.

The sisters were called “bright lights in our community” who “loved school, had many friends and enjoyed many activities.” One reportedly played the bass clarinet, while another had just started learning to play the trombone. Both girls reportedly loved math and were involved in the local Tassajara 4H Club, a local youth leadership organization.
